Sachin also known as the "Master Blaster" in the cricket world has just broken the world record for the maximum runs in test cricket. He is now the highest run getter in the world.
India's sensation has broken this record against Australia in the on-going Border-Gavaskar Series. Score at 2:45 pm is 189-4. Sachin is went past Lara's score tally of11,953 test runs.
Coincidentally Lara also achieved his record playing against Australia. Lara now retired from cricket wished good luck to Sachin before the start of test series in India.
The two players who stand the best chance of beating this records are Dravd and Ricky Ponting who are just above 10,000 a piece.
