Neil McKenzie, the South African batsmen feels that their present team is capable, to deal with Australia, but feels that the players need to play, at their optimum to challlenge the No.1 team.
They haven't beaten Australians in Australia, and also haven't won any series against them after their readmission.
"The current team is very stable, mature and experienced, so I feel we will be able, this time to deal with the pressure which Australians are famous for putting on their opponents" said Mc Kenzie. "South Africa always felt uncomfortable with Shane Warne's presence and we would be glad not to face him now, although other spinners were tried by Australia but no one came close to Warne"
McKenzie has returned on the test side after nearly 4 yrs. He was a memeber of the team during 01-02 tour of Australia which was white washed by 3-0. He was a middle order batsmen at that time. Now he will be establishing himself as an opening partner to Graeme Smith.
